Catch The Groove is a class for beginners, those from all age groups returning to the dance floor, and anyone looking to dance to a medley of old school/some new grooves. It is an encouraging, uplifting, and positive experience that is sure to put a smile on your face and push through the rest of the week.

Klub Hip Hop

Klub Hip Hop is a beginning Hip Hop Dance Class for all levels. This easy high energy class will make you sweat to klub bangers new and old! Let’s bring those klub moves to the studio. Learning easy Hip Hop moves to the hottest Hip Hop/R&B music around. Every week the class will have a surprise dance theme. You will be in a safe nonjudgemental space and all are welcomed! THIS IS A HIP HOP PARTY! So come have some fun!! GET LIT BREAK A SWEAT GET RATCHET GROOVE TO CLASSICS MAKE IT DIRTY LET THE MUSIC TAKE OVER

Latin Cardio DanceFit

Get ready for an energizing, fun-filled workout with Latin Cardio DanceFit! This high-energy class fuses cardio with Latin-inspired dance moves, offering a full-body workout that’s effective and incredibly enjoyable. Designed for all fitness levels, you’ll groove to the beats of salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and more. Boost your strength, coordination, and calorie burn while dancing to upbeat music. No dance experience is necessary—just bring your energy and get ready to move, sweat, and have a blast!

Strut

Strut is a confidence-centric dance class! Taught either in sneakers or in high heels to turn up the sexy, the focus of Strut is getting out of our heads and into our bodies. The class consists of a thorough warm-up focused on core strength and building heat from the inside out, some follow-along-style cardio dance, a fierce walk across the floor, and choreography. I pride myself on choreography that is accessible to all skill levels. These classes are designed for those who “used to dance” or have always wanted to try. My choreography is there as a guide but leaves space for you to do your thing! While safety and alignment are my priority, technique is not the focus of this class; your energy and presence is.

Hip Hop Cardio

Unleash your inner dancer with this high-energy Hip Hop class! Get a full-body workout, boost confidence, and have fun moving to your favorite tracks. Perfect for all ages and skill levels, this class combines cardio, coordination, and personal style for a fitness experience that leaves you smiling, sweating, and empowered.

Twerkout Werkout

POUND is a 45 minute full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. We use lightly weighted drumsticks (called Ripsticks) and workout to your very own concert where you are the Rock Star! This class is designated for all fitness levels!

West African Dance (Speciality)

West African Dance is free, expressive and loaded with history and culture. Dimensions of West African Dance and Music: dominance of a percussive beat coupled with the polyrhythmic structure of the dance and music; • emphasis on how the body moves as opposed to how it looks; and • emphasis on individual expression and interpretation through improvisation

Wild Card Wednesday

Our goal with WCW is to broaden our dance community. By offering more variety to our students and community members. CYD can’t wait to showcase the unique talents of great guest instructors like yourself. By hosting a different class with a new instructor each week. WCW class every Wednesday 7:30-8:30pm

Step Reloaded

Step Reloaded is a hybrid of step aerobics and dance choreography with complements of Hip-Hop, Rap, Contemporary R+B, Afrobeat + Reggae music. The goal is to bring adults of all ages, backgrounds, and dance and fitness levels together in an environment that cultivates good energy and a fun time — a cardio experience like no other!
